COVID-19 measures in our daily business

June 1, 2020

Specifically SmartRetur has implemented the following:

-Drivers are only allowed within a restricted zone inside the warehouse – hand sanitisers (Antibac) are freely available for all

-Warehouse workers will have strict limitations on movement outside theirs zones

-No shared work tables or tools. Before and after shifts all shared materials/tools are fully sanitised

-Office equipment and desks are fully sanitised on a daily basis

-All bathrooms have extra hand soap, paper towels and hand sanitisers (Antibac)

-Information is put up on all entry and exit points

-From-home office is deployed when suitable

We also have stockpiled rather large quantities of pallets, nails and other materials in case of border control / closures or limited access to basic materials

Generally SmartRetur adheres to these rules for personal hygiene:

-Wash your hands with soap and water often – and do this for at least 20 seconds.

-Always wash your hands when you come from either your car, work or a public space

-Use hand sanitiser (Antibac) if soap and water are not available

-Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze

-Put used tissues in the bin straight away and wash your hands afterwards.

-Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell

-Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth with unclean hands

-Don’t handshake or hug, and don’t share drinks with others

-Keep a certain distance to other people when meeting/talking

-If you show any symptoms, seek medical advise and stay away from work

At SmartRetur we handle large quantities of pallets that are seldom in direct contact with humans. Heat treatments and long periods of cold during transportation and storage make our pallets a relatively low risk environment for the spread of viruses of this kind. Anyhow, we are vigilantly following the development of this disease and the advise of the relevant national Health Authorities. We will keep you updated if any major changes to these precautions occur.

We thank you for your attention and we hope for a relatively quick return to normality. Stay safe!
